I wouldn’t go as far as to say that. Torturing, would be a far more suited word.
However, may i suggest that you increase the weight of your trousers by attaching onions to the belt loops?
I hope you find this of some use.

Cant afford contact lenses? Simply cut out small circles of cling film
and press them into your eyes.

i agree the best way to get used to wearing them, but i have used them for over 2 years now and i still hate utting them in because it hurts but i actually love wearing them because they help my vision so much
and when there in DO NOT RUB them because that is so dangerous.

heres a tip for you, practice ~(with clean hands)~ touching your eye. then when you get the lense in your eye, leave your finger there for a few secconds, then pull away. dont get frustrated of you cant do them, it took me three days to be good at it, then straight in and out now nd ive only had em a month. just keep trying tho honest. hope this helped. x

Man, I CANNOT get them in. I’ve literally tried for hours, but I cant help but blink every time.

Uhh, i buy mine through my opticer, but they are called “iwear dd supreme” they are the best quality lenses i could get in Denmark. They cost 2$ a day (1$ per lens) but i would recommend, that you talk to your opticer before buying! (:

@neSarang3528 your body is designed to reject foreign objects upon contact. It will take a little getting used to. My dad was the same

@QueenBritneyTV When I had my first lesson, I kept on trying and trying and I jsut couldn’t put them in. Practice holding your eyes open, like a clamp, so you can’t be able to blink, and pretend you have the lens, but DON’T touch it. Don’t worry though, you WILL get the hang of it soon and it will be so easy to do for you. I have just had my third lesson, and now I find it so easy, practice makes perfect :D

A couple of weeks ago I had my 2nd contact lens lesson, and there was a tiny hair in the lens, and my eyes were red, watering and killing me for about 2 hours, even when I took the lens out. Luckily now I have shown that I can safely put the lenses in and take them out! :)

It is also VERY important that you wash your hands before you even touch your contact lense, if a little hair or something gets stuck between the lense and your eye, your eyes will begin to “cry” and get very red.

    Yeah, of course.

It doesn’t mean you’re a pansy or anything. Haha.

@LiveLaughLoveXOXO613 omg same here lol everyday i wake up and i literally pray for my contacts to go in. i touch my eyes with my finger and cool i dont blink, but then when i try to insert the lens i would automatically have weird stupid spasm reflexes where i blink to the point that they would not stay in. my eyes are helpless =<

@07senreivBEN you shouldn’t shower or bathe with them on

I just got my contacts today and its so hard to put in. It kind of hurts when i take them out cause i slide them but i dont get a good grip and they might be somewhere in my eye and i have to feel around and when i blink i can feel it. I just hope i will get use to it

I tried today in the opticians and I couldn’t do it! Any advice?

lol i just got them yesterday took me 2 hours to put them on 2day

the way i put them on really easy is by putting the contact the very tip of my finger instead ON the finger

@abdoulie91 YES because you may have different perscriptions for each eye

  22. Comment by LaraCroftFanForLife on January 16, 2010 9:09 am

It depends if you’re prescription for each eye is the same. If it is, it won’t matter, if not you need to make sure not to mix them up.
