never put anything containing alcohol on your hands prior to contact lens application, unless of course you want to experience intense pain in your eyes…!

If they are two week disposables, you can wear them 14 times if you don’t wear them consistantly. They can safely be stored in the solution for one month.

After putting in the contacts in your eyes dump the solution out of the case, rinse it with solution and leave it open to dry out during the day. Then put fresh solution in the case at night or when you take your contacts out. If you wear 2wk disp contacts that are approved for sleeping in, it reduces your wear time to 1wk or 7 wears.

Some people wear them longer than 2 weeks. If you go to school and right when you get home you take them out you can wear them way longer. The two weeks only counts as you wear them.

what if u dont wear it for 2 weeks consistantly? what if u took them out of the case, put it in the soltion, and haven’t worn them yet? are they “dirty” do i have to dispose of it? or do i have another 2 weeks?????

Sometimes those naps can turn into hours! You can’t really control the nature of that.

Of course, depends if you have those night-time contacts but even then still safer to take them out.

Take good care of your eyes, don’t take unnecessary risks.

If you plan on storing them long-term you should clean them every 30 days. If you haven’t done this it’s safer to get a new pair to help avoid infection.
